I’ve typing this out on the train, it’s 8pm but thats because I went for a few afterwork drinks with Kay and Oz. We had a few gins and bitter lemons at the Liverpool street wetherspoons, which is always s pleasant experience.
I then get to my train and find a half empty carriage, and go to an empty booth. “wicked” I think to myself as I stretch my legs. This is how train journeys should be.
But just before the train departs, a man and woman both armed with newspapers decide to sit opposite me. (as I typed that the man just coughed without holding his hand over his mouth). They could have sat anywhere but instead chose to violate my leg space 😦
Hmm maybe I should change the title to I hate commuters, or I hate people. Maybe I should just be thankful I haven’t got a chav or a screaming kid wailing in my face.
Anyway despite that I have had a very cool day, and tomorrow evening will be watching Chicago. I’ve been to the theatre 3 times and I saw rock of ages, lion king and wicked. All were amazing so let’s hope Chicago doesn’t ruin the tradition 🙂
