I normally wouldnt care enough to write about Christina, but for some reason she has been causing me to have  some really bad moods.  I can’t stand liars, anybody can see through a liar, if not straight away then eventually.  So why is the world still full of liars?  I don’t know.

How can you fluff your lines if you’ve been singing the song since you were 7?  Why lie to your fans and say how much of a dream come true it is to sing the anthem when really its just an easy 2 minutes of exposure infront of 100 million viewers?  Not only did she get a line wrong, I just couldn’t stop gritting my teeth whilst listening to her wail.  When you listen to her perform the anthem, all you’ll hear is wail after wail.

Her popularity has been dwindling to the point where poor ticket sales last year led to a cancelled tour.  But I suffered some major bad moods when she blamed the cancellation of the tour on not having enough time to prepare due to promotional work on her latest album.  The bad moods really got me down 😦

Why not just admit that your fans got bored of waiting 4 years for a new album?  Since her debut album in 1999 she has released 4 studio albums with no real big classic song.  Singers like Celine Deon and Barbara Streisand can take years, even decades out of performing and still come back to sell out crowds from over-priced tickets. This is because they have something that Christina hasn’t, and that’s a huge number one hit.

After she got married and had a baby, I was hoping for a toned down Christina.  A Christina who would switch off from the dancing and evolve into a classy diva who would arrive late on stage to sing a big hit and then go back to her private dressing room and eat grapes.  But I guess I’m just going to have to suffer these bad moods for the rest of my life.

I don’t dislike Christina, I just find it irritating when someone has talent but due to whatever reasons do not reach their potential.  Please, don’t try and take the slut crown back from Lady Gaga, just concentrate on the singing (but not the wailing).
