So once again I’m sucked into the hype machine of a rockstar game.  First it was GTA4, which got me obsessed with looking at youtube clips and magazine articles, just to catchup with little snipbits of information.  I”m not sure why I got so obsessed, as all I was doing was spoiling the game for myself.

Then Red Dead Redemption was announced, and I was even more attached.  I had a craving to play a decent western, and Rockstar well and truly served me the goods.

Then LA Noire was announced, and I said to myself that I would avoid the hype, that I’d avoid all videos and interviews regarding the game.  However Rockstar have an amazing PR team, their trailers are perfect in revealing little bits of the game that leave you desperate to try out, and one week before release I finally fell off the wagon.

I keep trawling through forums and looking at YouTube to see gameplay videos just to see more of what this amazing game will be like.  20th May is the release date, and I plan to lock myself away in my room and to never come back again until I complete it.  Goodbye.
