I’ve just finished watching the season finale of Falling Skies, a Speilburg produced show, and probably the only reason I watched the show was because his name was attached to it. But now I kind of wish he had no influence on the show at all.

I’m a big fan of Speilberg and always look forward to his films. But even the greatest of people have their weaknesses and for me Speilbergs have shone right through. Now I”m not saying I know exactly how much influence he brought to the story

Falling Skies is supposed to be about a group of survivors trying to cope after an Alien invasion. I was expecting a gritty show with decent character delelopment and sombre top action scenes, I presumed with Speilberg on board they could justify spending more money on special effects.
