It’s Tuesday afternoon and I’m sat at my desk with nothing to do. The photocopier broke down and I’m waiting for the engineer to turn up, he’s stuck in traffic somewhere in Islington and should be half hour at most. I’ve just noticed my trousers have a few awful creases that really stand out and look scruffy. I wonder what my colleagues make of this? I mean if I saw one of my colleagues with an un-ironed pair of trousers I’d think they were lazy and cheap. I hope they don’t think that of me.

This evening I’m going to the theatre (actually I feel like a toff when I say that, so I’ll just call it a play) and apparently the story is Indian themed. I’m partly looking forward to it as I’ve enjoyed all my experiences watching a play, but I just do not know what to expect. Trying different things can be good but also quite bad. Two weeks ago I was persuaded by my girlfriend to watch a film at the cinema called Magic Mike. I knew it would be aimed at girls so I expected a few ‘hunky’ men in underwear or something like that, however what I got was male strippers cock-thrusting in women’s faces. To make things worse I was the only guy in the cinema, surrounded by young girls who’d gasp whenever they’d see a buttock or 2. I’m sure the Indian play tonight won’t have any strippers but then again you can never be too sure.
