Sometimes I have moments where I think back at people I grew up with and wonder where they are now. I’m in my late 20s so I presume most have families and decent jobs.
I don’t speak to most of my school friends anymore but some are on my Facebook, and it’s quite funny going through their profiles from time to time and seeing how much they’ve changed.
I do wonder how I’ll feel though when i get older. Just say if i make it to 90, will I still look back and wonder where they all are? Will I presume they’re in care homes? Or even worse, dead? It’s quite a morbid thought.
I would hate to log in to Facebook one day and find everyone on my list had past away.
I had a friend in college who once said “Thinking is bad for you. It makes you sad, and sadness makes you die young.” I guess I shouldn’t think so much.
