Premature Worrying is Quite Pointless

A couple of weeks ago I had a blood test to finally determine whether or not I have an intolerance to wheat. It’s something I should have done over a year ago but kept putting off, but there was only so many times I could suffer stomach problems and feeling bloated (which seem to be a daily occurrence) so I figured it was best I get myself diagnosed.

So today I phoned up the doctor to get my results, eagerly awaiting my fate, to be disappointed to find the celiac test results hadn’t come back. I received results for my kidney and liver which thankfully got the all-clear, but I’ll have to give them another couple of weeks before I find out about the celiac results.

The thing is now I’m wondering how I’m going to feel whether I’ve got the all-clear or not. If i get the all clear then thats great, no celiac disease for me. But then I’m back to square one as to whats causing these problems…
At least if they do find something in my blood at least I’ll know why I feel as I do.

I guess all this worrying is premature until I get the results back, but until then I’m left to feel slightly anxious…
