Why do I keep playing Candy Crush?

I long for the day when I finally get bored of Candy Crush. Will that day ever happen? Probably not.
So I guess I will continue to waste numerous hours on a game that just takes up too much of my time until hopefully one day every Internet server in the World explodes and Candy Crush will be no more.

I’m stuck on level 110, which probably sounds completely sad to someone who’s never played it before, but honestly I’m just a beginner. There are seasoned pros out there who are way more addicted than I am. To them I am just an amateur; a noob in the virtual world of colourful sweets that disappear when the same colours go together.

But as much as I enjoy this game, it does get me quite angry. I mean, what is the point in playing a game that you cannot win? Candy Crush is incredibly addictive but I don’t understand why I’m trying to complete levels that are impossible to complete unless the game gives me the resources to do so, or I spend money on over-priced power ups (£17.49 for a Charm of Frozen Time? No thank you.)

But still I come back and play more. If I’m lucky enough some random Facebook friends who I have long forgotten about will send me extra lives, and in good faith I always return the favour. I guess the one plus side of Candy Crush is it gets you in touch with old friends who you otherwise would have forgotten.

Anyway enough rambling, I should really put my phone down and do some work…

Wait, does the nav block sit on the footer for this theme? That's bold.
