Earlier on the train I saw a young lady with a trout pout. She was a commuter like everyone else, heading to work as normal, except she had the face of someone who spends her time in a pond at the local park.

I kind of understand why celebrities overdo their plastic surgery, I guess they are under pressure to look a certain way, but for the average joe, I’m not so sure. 

I mean, unless your partner has a duck fetish, who’s actually benefitting here? Oh yeah that’s right, it’s the surgeons. 

It’s bad enough when magazines and social media convince women to cake theirselves up with makeup to look good, but now surgery is becoming more affordable it seems they are going a step further. 

Where does it end? There are already so many examples of celebrities over the years who have gone too far with the fillers and Botox and whatever else, but it seems it’s not enough. The scary thing is, maybe this is the new normal; in 100 years, we will all look like ducks.
