Wuthering Lows

My clever title for this post is more creative than the entirety of the Wuthering Heights 2026 film starring Margot Robbie.

This was a dull, uninspired film where I briefly fell asleep in the cinema. Granted, this was an Everyman cinema that happened have comfortable sofas, and I did enjoy a glass of wine, and drinking in the afternoon can make me sleepy, but regardless, the film was woeful.

I awoke from my nap hoping for the film to transform into something else. Perhaps the third act could introduce some energy, or personality, or at least something interesting. But no, the entirety of the story is set in the dull countryside, featuring dull weather, populated by dull characters (apart from Martin Clune’s drunken father role) with a dull script and dull set design. Everything just felt cheap in a 90s made for TV kind of way

I have nothing more to add.

Wait, does the nav block sit on the footer for this theme? That's bold.
